There are two types of people in the world: those who can’t tell the difference between Arial and Helvetica, and those who despise Arial.

Updates

Updates are a hard sell. It seems like every time I sit down at someone else’s computer, there’s some sort of notification that they have updates to install. Whenever I’m handed someone’s iPhone, I see the little badge on the App Store icon that means they have updates to install. Very often, looking at someone’s website administrative area shows a message that there is a new version to be installed!

You would think the update issue would have been resolved by now. You would think we would be beyond this.

In an age of web apps, this is a problem that will get better. But when will it just go away?

Take risks and you’ll get the payoffs. Learn from your mistakes until you succeed. It’s that simple.
